Dear Staff, Parents and Guardians,
Two Ofsted HM Inspectors visited our school on the 28th April 2021 to carry out a very comprehensive and wide ranging inspection. It is not necessary for me to comment on the detail of the inspection nor the findings of the inspectors as this is fully explained within the attached report.
However, I do want to mention that reading through the report and the many positive comments from both inspectors made me feel immensely proud to be a part of this school, proud of our children and our staff. As parents and guardians you should also feel very proud. I am sure you are aware that a school can only truly be successful when all parents, guardians, children and staff work together in a positive and constructive manner. I believe we have this combination. During the course of the inspection several of our children met with the inspectors who were particularly impressed with their confidence and maturity.
I would also like to mention that we will not become complacent. With your help, we will continue to push forward and make this the best school possible. We will make sure we provide the best possible experiences, education and opportunities for personal development for every child.
Finally thank you again to all the parents who completed the Parent View survey and/or sent in emails and letters of support. I do not think the inspector was able to read all the correspondence during the short visit. I however have read and filed every single email and letter that was sent in and shared many of the comments with colleagues. These positive comments, appreciation and fierce loyalty are both humbling and heart-warming:
‘Bringing our children to this school is the best decision we ever made.’
Please let me know if you have any comments on the report or if you have any particular questions.
With best wishes
